The Iona Community
The Iona Communityis a dispersed Christian ecumenical community working for peace and social justice, rebuilding of community and the renewal of worship. www.iona.org.uk
Founded in 1938 by the Revd George MacLeod the Iona Community’s headquarters are in Glasgow, Scotland, where its publishing house, Wild Goose Publications (www.ionabooks.com),is also based, but its main activities take place on the island of Iona, and to a lesser extent also on Mull, in Argyll and Bute.
The Wild Goose Resource Group produces a newsletter GOOSEgander. This includes a calendar of events run by members of the Iona Community. The WGRG also produces excellent liturgy booklets. See the online shop www.wgrg.co.uk for a wide range of material for sale.
