For moonlit nights and sparkling stars, we bless you, Lord.
For blue skies and wind-driven clouds, we bless you, Lord.
For gentle rain and warm sun, we bless you, Lord.
For seeds that stir in the good earth, we bless you, Lord.
For green leaves and fragrant blossom, we bless you, Lord.
For nesting birds and promise of spring, we bless you, Lord.
For creatures great and creatures small, we bless you, Lord.
For families and friends, we bless you, Lord.
For the continuing rhythm of life, we bless you, Lord.

For love embodied in the washing of feet, we thank you, Lord.
For broken bread and wine outpoured, we thank you, Lord.
For the promise of sins forgiven, we thank you, Lord.
For your life laid down for us, we thank you, Lord.
For your rising to new life, we thank you, Lord.
For companions we meet on the way, we thank you, Lord.
For moments of recognition, we thank you, Lord.
For leaving us your peace, we thank you, Lord.

For the gift of your Holy Spirit, we thank you, Lord.
That justice and mercy may prevail, we pray to you, Lord.
That the earth’s resources may be shared equally, we pray to you, Lord.
That the hungry may be fed, we pray to you, Lord.
That the sick may be healed, we pray to you, Lord.
That the homeless may find shelter, we pray to you, Lord.
That the frightened may know your presence, we pray to you, Lord.
That the lonely may be comforted, we pray to you, Lord.
That the dying may be filled with your peace, we pray to you, Lord.
That we may follow in the footsteps of the saints, we pray to you, Lord.

In times of wilderness and waiting, be near us, Good Lord.
In times of searching and questioning, be near us, Good Lord.
In times of praying and silence, be near us, Good Lord.
In times when our faith is unsure, be near us, Good Lord.
In speaking your words of love to others, be near us, Good Lord.
In serving our brothers and sisters in your name, be near us, Good Lord.
In taking up what burdens us, be near us, Good Lord.
In striving to be your disciples, be near us, Good Lord.
In the hope of rising to new life in you, be near us, Good Lord.
